School Psychologist Publishes Journal Article
Mac Barnett, a school psychologist at the North Tonawanda High School, was
published recently in the New York School Psychologist Journal, a publication
of the N.Y. Association of School Psychologists. His article, “The Use of
Technology for School Psychologists” outlines how he has used technology and
district staff resources to become more efficient, freeing more of his time to
work with students. This is available to review on his NT webpage. Click here for a direct link to the article.
Mac has been a professional educator for 48 years working as an elementary
classroom teacher, college graduate teaching fellowship, and as a school
guidance counselor at the elementary, middle and high school levels. He has
spent 32 years with the NT City School District and provided services to
students at every building in the district. The services and process he
describes in the article are unique to the high school setting where he has
worked for the past four years.
He wrote a previous article for the publication titled “How to Evaluate a
School Psychologist”.
