Students Send Uplifting Messages

Letters to Addie After watching a recent local newscast about a Utah girl’s (Addie) last wish to receive Christmas cards, as she has an undiagnosed illness that has stunted her growth and is now causing cerebral atrophy, Ms. Senick and Mrs. Skuce’s students wanted to help grant Addie that wish. For one week students brought in cards with uplifting messages and many opted to make Addie a more personalized card. The message the students sent to Addie was that they were thinking of er and wishing her family the best at this time of need.

The students were very enthusiastic about sending Addie these cards with their heartfelt messages. As the students brought the cards in, many commented how good it felt to know they were doing a good deed.
