2018 FALL SENIOR SECTION VI SCHOLAR-ATHLETES:

The following senior student-athletes carried a 90% average or better for the past 6 semesters.

WINNERS:

FALL NYSPHSAA TEAM SCHOLAR-ATHLETE AWARDS:

To receive team recognition with a certificate, the team’s average GPA for 75% of the roster must be greater than or equal to 90%. Only students with a 90 or above will receive pins, even if a student with a lower GPA was used in the calculation.

WINNERS:

  1. Girls Volleyball – 96.29 (9 students achieving 90% average)
  2. Girls Soccer – 94.47 (13 students achieving 90% average)
  3. Girls Swimming & Diving – 94.42 (14 students achieving 90% average)
  4. Girls Tennis – 94.35 (7 students achieving 90% average)
  5. Boys Golf – 93.13 (4 students achieving 90% average)
  6. Cheerleading – 92.61 (8 students achieving 90% average)
  7. Girls Cross Country – 90.48 (4 students achieving 90% average)

When a team does not meet the Scholar-Athlete Team criteria, the individuals on that team with a 90% or above GPA are still eligible to receive a pin and will be considered an Individual Scholar Athlete.

TEAMS NOT ACHIEVING 90% BUT HAD INDIVIDUAL STUDENTS ACHIEVING A 90% AVERAGE:

8. Boys Soccer – 89.76 (8 students achieving 90% average)
9. Boys Cross Country – 89.57 (3 students achieving 90% average)
10. Boys Volleyball – 89.42 (3 students achieving 90% average)
11. Football – 89.37 (12 students achieving 90% average)
