The NTHS Student Counselors and the Career Center hosted a “First Responder's Day” on Thursday, April 18, 2024, all day in the Library Media Center. Many different local First Responder's participated in this special event. Students were able to walk table to table and explore/ learn and ask questions about the different First Responder's careers available to them upon graduating from High School. They also participated in hands on demonstrations and learned about the many different career available to work in.

NT Police, NT Fire Department, Niagara County Sheriff and their Communications/911 and Traffic Safety departments, NYS Troopers, Niagara Falls Air Force Base Fire Department, US Border Patrol, US Air Force, US Army, US Air National Guard, US Army National Guard, US Coast Guard, UB University Police, Department of Homeland Security, FBI.
