The following Winter season sports will be offered. Season dates for JV/Varsity will be Nov. 15 - March 25, while Modified will be Nov. 15 - Feb. 25. Modified Co-Ed Swimming's season will be Jan. 3 - Feb. 25.

  • Boys Swimming/Diving (V, JV)
  • Boys/Girls Bowling (V)
  • Boys/Girls Indoor Track (V)
  • Co-Ed Swimming (Mod.)

SPORTS PHYSICALS FROM YOUR PRIVATE PHYSICIAN ARE ACCEPTED. All potential North Tonawanda City School District athletes are required to obtain a sports physical every calendar year. If you have already seen your private physician, you may digitally upload your paperwork in FamilyID or deliver to the school health office. If needed, District-sponsored sports physicals will be conducted by Wheatfield Pediatrics at the High School the week of Nov. 8, 2021 (dates TBA) and must be scheduled through the High School Health Office, (716) 807-3611.


Tryouts will start Nov. 15 for Varsity, JV and Modified teams (Modified Co-Ed Swimming tryouts will start Jan. 3, 2022). Locations and times will be posted on our Athletics page. The APP test will be offered Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 2:35 p.m. in the Middle School Gym. Specific information will be sent to individuals via the FamilyID messaging system after they register.

All athletes must have a current physical on file in the health office to be eligible to play sports. Physicals must be on file in the health office before a student can try out for a sport. DO NOT hand your physical to the coach on the first day of practice. Physicals can be uploaded into your FamilyID registration, or may be delivered in person, faxed, mailed or emailed to the Athletic or Health Offices.
