Ohio Elementary Recently Inducted as a Pathway School by Woz Ed.

Ohio Elementary was recently inducted as a Pathway School by Woz Ed. Woz Ed's founder, Steve Wozniak, is the creator of the 1st home computer and partnered with Steve Jobs to launch Apple. Woz Pathway Schools are an elite group of schools that exemplify teaching and learning that is purposefully designed to build an engineering mindset while developing the soft skills employers value. All lessons and learning are built with a focus on collaboration, creativity, critical thinking and communication.
Last year Ohio opened the Discovery Den and has reimagined the computers special to now include Woz Ed curriculum components such as Coding, Robotics, Cybersecurity, Animation, and Aeronautics/Drones. The Discovery Den is the product of hard work, dedication, and support by Ohio Elementary staff and the community. It provides students with a unique and fun way to learn valuable skills that will help them thrive in the future. We look forward to this program expanding to Spruce Elementary and Drake Elementary to ensure all K-3 students in the North Tonawanda City School District have the most rewarding learning experiences. Currently, North Tonawanda Intermediate offers Woz Ed curriculum and anticipates being inducted as a Pathway School next year.
