Exercise Science Class Learns ASL With Paper Hands
Students in Mr. Evans' NTHS Exercise Science class created model hands as part of a unit on the wrist and hand.
Straws simulate bones and strings simulate tendons. Disability awareness was also incorporated with a presentation on American Sign Language. Students learned the ASL alphabet and used their paper hands to finger spell their name.
