The guidance counselors at North Tonawanda High School recently had some honored guests. They invited representatives from each branch of the military to come and set up a table at the library and invited students down throughout the day to talk to them about careers and give them information about their branch of the service.
“This is our first annual Military Day,” said Career Center Mentor Lori Graves. “We invited all the local branches to come out and share what opportunities they have for students upon graduation, whether it is programs, scholarships, jobs and education, anything that would benefit the students.”
The representatives spent almost the whole day at the school and treated them to food and giveaways.
