    Our Mission
    The mission of the NT Athletic Program is to provide opportunities for our students to strive for excellence by creating an educational and competitive experience within an atmosphere of sportsmanship. We believe that interscholastic athletics can and should enhance the character of our students. Athletics provide an educational opportunity in which students can learn essential life lessons, beyond those that can be learned in the academic classroom. We believe the combination of athletics and academics enhances the quality of students' lives and expands their options for learning and growth.
     

Athletics Announcements

    • Low- & Moderate-Risk Sports Begin Jan. 18
      JAN. 12 UPDATE: Section VI reconfirmed its support to move forward with low- and moderate-risk sports beginning on Jan. 18. NT practices/tryouts for Boys Swimming and Co-ed Bowling begin Jan. 19. At this time, we do not have clearance from the state to start high-risk sports (basketball, hockey, wrestling and cheerleading) until further notice.

    • High-Risk Fall Sports Delayed
      Because of safety concerns and other determining factors, the NFL Athletic Directors have postponed Girls Swimming/Diving until March 2021 to coincide with other fall sports that were moved by the NYSPHSAA. The new “Fall Season II” will include Football, Volleyball, Competitive Fall Cheerleading, and Girls Swimming/Diving.
