Make A Registration Appointment
Call 716-807-3568 during regular business hours (8 am-3:30 pm) to make a registration appointment.
Appointments are scheduled Mon-Fri (8 am-3:30 pm) starting on Monday, February 2, 2026.
After-hour appointments are available on the following dates:
- Wednesday, February 4, 2026
- Tuesday, February 17, 2026
- Wednesday, March 4, 2026
All registration materials, instructions, and updates — including step-by-step guidance for completing student registration — are centrally located on the Central Registration webpage. Printed packets are also available at the Board of Education Building, 176 Walck Road.

Universal Pre-K Lottery - Tentative Information
If Universal Pre-K (UPK) registration numbers exceed available seats and a lottery becomes necessary, a UPK Lottery is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 5:30 PM, at the North Tonawanda City School District Board of Education Building.
At this time, the need for a lottery has not yet been determined. Registration numbers will continue to be monitored as we approach the registration deadline.
Families are encouraged to check back as we get closer to March 24, 2026, as updated information regarding whether a lottery will be held — and details on the process — will be shared if needed.
Please note:
Last year, a lottery date was scheduled but later canceled due to lower-than-anticipated registration numbers, making a lottery unnecessary.

Registration Forms
PRIVATE SCHOOL REGISTRATION:
There is a separate registration form for any NT resident student attending a non-public or parochial school. Please pick up the private school registration forms at the Administration Building, 176 Walck Road.
CURRENT PRE-K STUDENTS:
If your child is enrolled in Head Start, you will need to complete a registration packet. If your child attends the universal pre-kindergarten (UPK) program operated by Carousel Academy at Ohio School, it is not necessary to complete a registration packet. However, if you have a new address or phone number, you must update that information with the district office. Call 807-3568.

NYS Regulations
To be eligible to attend kindergarten in September 2026, a child must be five years old on or before Dec. 1, 2026.
To be eligible to attend pre-kindergarten in September 2026, a child must be four years old on or before Dec. 1, 2026.
