Register your child for Summer School June 25-27
Summer School registration will be held at NTHS on the following dates:
To determine if summer school enrollment is necessary, parents and students need to check the failure lists that are posted on the HS Library windows. Failing grades are posted by student number (available on student identification cards). If a student number appears on a list, this means the class will be offered in summer school and parents should make sure the student registers for summer school. Please note that failure lists are posted as soon as exams are graded and that the exam period runs from June 3-25. Lists should thus be checked on an ongoing basis.
A parent must register with a student in order to complete the registration materials. Information required at registration includes parent signature, student’s ID card or driver’s license, emergency and medical information, contact numbers and payment. There is an $80 fee to register (per class) and students may sign up for up to two classes. If you wish to take an exam only (e.g. without the class), the cost per exam is $13. Money orders may be made out to “North Tonawanda City School District” and cash is also accepted. Please note that NO personal checks will be accepted.
Summer School will be held at Niagara Wheatfield High School (new this year) July 9 through Aug. 12; exams are scheduled for Aug. 13 and 14. Busing to/from Niagara Wheatfield HS will be provided.
