    School of Savers

North Tonawanda City School District and Niagara Regional Federal Credit Union have partnered together to educate elementary and middle school students about the importance of responsible finance. Through the School of Savers program, students have the opportunity to open and maintain a savings account, gain a sense of responsibility, and develop the experience needed to know the importance of investing money. The program reinforces basic math skills, and gives hands on experience in handling money. Participation in the program is encouraged but entirely voluntary.

Banking Options at School, at Niagara Regional Federal Credit Union, and Online!
Students can bank at their school on Credit Union Day. Regular deposits are encouraged, though not required. Students will receive a receipt for each deposit and they can even watch their savings grow online through Home Banking. Of course deposits and withdrawls can be made during operating hours at the local Niagara Regional FCU branch at 1285 Erie Avenue, North Tonawanda, New York.

    Points
Each deposit earns points toward prizes. Every 25 cents deposited will earn 1 point.  Students can choose between trading in their points for small prizes or saving them for larger rewards. Points roll over from year to year through grade 12. The student with the most points saved at the end of grade 12 will receive a scholarship!
