Principal's Message

  • Dear Families of Ohio,

Spring of 2020 has challenged staff, students, and families to find a new normal for learning that will extend into the upcoming school year. We have been working hard all summer to plan for a safe opening of school and to implement best practices to mitigate the risks associated with Covid-19.

Our classrooms have been modified to increase social distancing. Signage has been installed throughout the building to guide students. Students will have scheduled time for mask breaks, hand washing, and opportunities to access outdoor learning spaces. In preparation for meeting the needs of learners, a stronger emphasis will be placed on social emotional learning in all of our K-3 classrooms.

District-wide, all K-3 students will be using Seesaw as its student learning management system. We are confident in providing a single uniform platform, students and their families will be able to navigate expectations, communicate with teachers and receive building-wide updates.

Partnering with families will be crucial this year as we face many obstacles due to the global pandemic.  We appreciate your support as you work with students at home to practice safety protocols such as wearing a mask and washing hands. We encourage families to stay connected and informed by following our district website for important updates and information regarding our reopening plans. You can find Covid-19 Information at
