NTCSD Launches ThoughtExchange October 1, 2024
Community Check - In
**TOPIC QUESTION:
We need your input on the first month of school to celebrate our successes, address challenges, and continue to improve all areas of our school district.
We will use your thoughts to understand where we are doing well and where we need to grow. We are using ThoughtExchange so everyone has a chance to share their perspectives and understand what’s most important to the group.
Come back often until Friday, October 11, to rate new ideas.
Quick Tips:-
This Exchange is confidential. Your thoughts will be shared with other participants, but not your identity.
-
Please be clear in your thought(s), is it something we are doing well or something we can improve?
-
You can share as much as you'd like, but please add separate thoughts so it's easier for others to rate.
-
Please remain polite and respectful - thoughts that are rude, hurtful, or identifying will be removed from the Exchange.
-
You will see and rate thoughts that others have shared: 5 stars = strongly agree, 3 = neutral, 1 star = strongly disagree.
-
You do not need to rate all thoughts, though it's recommended to rate at least 20.
Thank you for your participation!
All of our voices matter, so your participation is crucial and valued. ThoughtExchange allows you to not only share YOUR thoughts but also lets you consider and rate the thoughts of OTHER participating stakeholders. PLEASE NOTE: Any exchange is CONFIDENTIAL, so your identity will NOT be shared.
Please remain polite and respectful as you share and rate your thoughts. All thoughts will be reviewed.

**TOPIC QUESTION: What are the most important academic, social-emotional, and/or mental health supports for schools to serve all students (i.e. general education students, students with disabilities, English language learners, and others) that could be alleviated with the help of the American Rescue Plan Funding?
As a way to improve communication between the district and the community at large, the North Tonawanda City School District has partnered with a public feedback platform called ThoughtExchange. This helps us gather input from members of the community while engaging people in thought-provoking conversations at the same time. Our last ThoughtExchange ran from June 9 through June 16, 2021.
