Reopening Plan

  • "" NORTH TONAWANDA CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT 2020-21 REOPENING PLAN: VIEW THE PLAN...

This plan was created after countless hours of stakeholder meetings and brainstorming, with direction from the NYS Education Department's guidelines, released in mid-July. In addition, the plan adheres to the safety guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and NYS Department of Health.

While we are hopeful students can return to in-classroom learning, the safety of our students and staff will always be our top priority, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are closely monitoring the situation to see whether schools across New York State will be allowed to reopen for the start of the 2020-21 school year.
