This week's way back Wednesday is a picture from the 1960's that shows the hall of windows at the current high school. It was later replaced with the library addition in 2000.
The first two High Schools before the one on Meadow Drive. Felton Grammar and Lowery Middle School both served as a high school. While Felton Grammar was torn down, the High School built in 1925 still stands. It was sold in 2005, 80 years after being built. It will be 100 years old in 2025.
Here is a page from the flyer put out by the Superintendent's Office in 1961. The plans for building Ohio Elementary and the new NT High School were approved.

A June 1961 News and Views highlights the need for the new school buildings proposed. enrollment was at an all-time high.
