Hello. I am your child’s second grade teacher, Mrs. Michelle Logan.

I’d like to tell you a bit about myself and my teaching background.

As we embark upon this school year, I will begin my 22nd year of teaching in the NTCSD.

I have taught in various grades and programs (PK-7) throughout my career.

I am certified as a General Education teacher in grades Pre-K through 6^th, and as a Special Education teacher ages Newborn through 21.
I am a trained Reading Recovery teacher and a Literacy Collaborative Coach as well.

My extensive background in Early Literacy is my passion and what I am most excited to share with the second graders in our classroom this school year.

I believe that all children are able and capable of learning, and that it is my job to differentiate my instruction to meet each child’s needs.

I grew up in North Tonawanda, and attended Spruce Elementary as a youngster myself.

I currently reside in Pendleton with my husband Jack.

I thank you for entrusting your child to me each day, as I will do my best to provide him or her with a safe and fun learning environment.
