This is my 9th year teaching in North Tonawanda. Prior to coming here, I taught 2 years in the Fayetteville-Manlius School district near Syracuse and also had a long-term substitute position in Amherst.  My primary focus in North Tonawanda has been between 4th and 6th grades in a 12:1:1 special education setting. I also have experience in Kindergarten, 3rd, and 8th grades in inclusive classrooms and as a general education teacher.

I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from SUNY Geneseo, in 2003 & 2004, respectively. My undergraduate work was for Dual Certification in Elementary and Special Education with a concentration in English. My graduate degree was in Elementary Education with a focus on Reading K-12.

I love to volunteer and explore photography, and spend time with my family. Having decided that I wanted to be a teacher when I was in third grade, I am really living my dream! I am thrilled to be working with your child this year!

PS- You may have noticed the play on words above- my classroom has an owl theme, which I like to play off of when I can!
