NCCC Liberty Partnerships Program
The New York State Education Department awarded NCCC a new Liberty Partnerships Program five-year grant (2013-2017) for $1.75 million dollars. The program serves students in grades 5-12 in three school districts encompassing nine schools.
NCCC's Liberty Partnerships Program (NLPP) offers wide-ranging pre-collegiate and dropout prevention programs to youth in Niagara County. NLPP is designed to help "at-risk" middle and high school students succeed academically. This program is housed on NCCC's main campus with home bases within three Niagara County school districts: Lockport, Niagara Falls, and North Tonawanda.
The NLPP at North Tonawanda High School, housed in Room 224C, provides tutoring and programs each week, Monday through Thursday, from 7:50 a.m. – 3:20 p.m. For more information, contact the NTHS Counseling Office at 807-3642. You may also contact Joelle Reimers or Lisa Rivera, the NTHS Program Administrators, in room 224C at extension 1227.
