Take Home Binders & Student Planners

          As a fifth grader, your son or daughter is responsible for recording their homework assignments daily in their planner.  At the end of each day, class time is provided prior to dismissal where we go over the assignments and record them in our planners.  Even though your child is in fifth grade and should take responsibility for their homework, I still like to keep parents as partners, and would love for you to also check your child’s planner nightly.  Planners are also a great way for us to communicate back and forth.  Important papers will be put in their take home binders.  The student planners are an excellent tool to help your child stay organized.
