• Parent Portal Frequently Asked Questions

    1. Where is the log-in page?
    Use the link here       https://parentportal.wnyric.org
    2. What information will I have access to?
The district will be implementing the Parent Portal for grades 7 through 12. Initially, you will have online access to attendance information, progress reports, electronic report cards and current grades.
    3. Do I need an account for each of my children?
Sign up for one child ONLY. Once your account is approved you will automatically gain access to all of your children that you are permitted to receive correspondence about.

    4. How much will it cost for me to use the system?

There is no cost for you to utilize this system.

5 What is the district doing to protect my children’s privacy?

Your children’s privacy is extremely important to us; as such, the district has elected not to send user names and passwords via US mail. Instead, passwords will only be issued after your application has been thoroughly reviewed by district personnel. If the information you’ve supplied to us online does not match the information we have on file, your application will be denied, and you will be notified. Once your application has been approved your account will remain active as long as you have children attending the North Tonawanda City School District.

    6. What about security?

The Parent Portal utilizes 128-bit encryption and is hosted in a secure Network Operation Center which is professionally monitored around the clock. The Parent Portal represents a snapshot of data that is contained in the district’s “live” student information system; therefore, even in the unlikely event that the system was compromised, permanent records could not be altered in any way.

    7. How can I request a Parent Portal account?

You can apply for a Parent Portal (eSP) account online by visiting https://parentportal.wnyric.org and clicking on the Parent Portal button.
    8. Can you provide tips for the account request page?
