The Stock Market
Students will be invested in the history of the stock market and the basics of how it works and ties into our financial world. Students participated in a virtual stock exchange online where they were given $10,000 to invest through buying and selling shares. Many kept their accounts going after the unit ended. Students were also responsible for completing a weekly blog on the days they were not in GT. Blog assignments were extensions to in class lessons.
