1. services are provided under one of three programs:a. A special education IEP (individualized education program),b. 504 plan (access to federally funded programs or activities, including elementary, secondary,or postsecondary schooling)c. speech improvement program which is providing services to students in need who do not qualify under the above two areas.2. Students are typically serviced in small groups. Individual speech services are made available through a madate from the committe on special education.3. On the day speech therapy is scheduled, each student will receive a pass from their homeroom teacher. The student will have to show the pass to the regularly scheduled teacher for that period. Then the student will proceed to the speech room.4. Students stay and work in the speech room for the remainder of the period.
