Summer School Information

Summer School Registration will be held at North Tonawanda High School on the following dates:

  • Friday, June 23   (7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)
  • Monday, June 26   (7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
  • Tuesday, June 27   (7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

To determine if summer school enrollment is necessary, parents and students need to check the failure lists that are posted on the High School Library windows.  Failing grades are posted by student number (available on report cards and student identification cards).  If a student number appears on a list this means that the class will be offered in summer school and that parents should make sure that the student registers for summer school.  Please note that failure lists are posted as soon as exams are graded and that the exam period runs from June 1-22, 2016.  Lists should thus be checked on an ongoing basis.

A parent must register with a student in order to complete the registration materials.  Information required at registration includes parent signature, emergency and medical information, contact numbers, and payment.  There is a $40.00 fee to register (per class) and students may sign up for up to two classes.  If you wish to take an exam only (e.g., without the class), the cost per exam is $7.00.  Money orders may be made out to “North Tonawanda City School District” and cash is also accepted.  Please note that no checks will be accepted.

Summer School will be held at Niagara Falls High School from July 11 through August 15; exams are scheduled for August 16 and 17.  Busing to/from Niagara Falls High School will be provided.
