The North Tonawanda City School District offers a comprehensive, high quality instructional program to students from Pre-K through High School graduation. Guided by the New York Learning Standards, and through the collaboration of highly skilled teachers, we have articulated specific criteria for learning at each grade level and content area. We believe that through a comprehensive and rigorous curriculum, essential foundational skills are built and, once those skills are learned and mastered, we offer a variety of curricular and instructional approaches to inspire students’ passions and motivate them to excel. Through our established Five-Year Plan, curricula are routinely evaluated through our district’s Program Review Process to ensure that necessary changes are made which meet and reflect the needs of our students. In addition, we provide a variety of support services for those students who may need extra help along the way to insure their success, as well as offer programs that challenge those students who may exceed the New York State Learning Standards in one or more areas.
